Kyuketsuki

Once a human, Crown prince of Yue Palace and the commander of the Tsuki kingdom. He and his army used to protect and keep his people in peace and harmony for years. Till the attack of Kazama and his undead armies. Through Ryuki and his army fought bravely to protect his land and people, Ryuki was outnumbered and subsequently overpowered by Kazama and his supernatural force. Ryuki was eventually defeated and fatally wound while his whole army was killed and destroy. Seeing Ryuki being the only survivor of the attack and the potential, Kazama injected an unknown blood sample into Ryuki, turning him into a Rasetsu, a failed form of typical shinobi vampire. At the same time, he was cursed to be destroyed after using Rasetsu's true form mode known as Ochi Oni.

Witnessing his kingdom and people being destroyed in his own hands as well as his curse Ryuki being to seek for a way to remove his curse and Kazama for what he had done to Ryuki and destroying his homeland and people.
